Systems and methods for a sterile radiological drape designed to isolate thenon-sterileportions of medical equipment used during surgery from the sterile zoneadjacentto where medical procedures are performed are described. In one embodiment theflexible sterile drape enclosure may be incorporated into the patient drapeallowing forprotection and draping of both the patient and the medical equipment. Inanotherembodiment the drape comprises a board with a hole formed therein and asterileenclosure mounted thereto atop of a Mayo stand. This hole allows for themedicalequipment to rotate into the sterile enclosure in close proximity with thesterile zonewithout contaminating it. The systems and methods provide advantages in thatthe steriledrape is easy to apply and may be moved multiple times during the surgery, whichreduces the length of a medical procedure as well as the cost associatedtherewith.
