FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery and dentistry, as well as otorhinolaryngology, and is intended for use for treatment of maxillary sinus diseases, requiring access to the sinus cavity. Access to the maxillary sinus is carried out from the side of the scapulo-alveolar ridge, in the projection from the first premolar to the second molar of the maxilla, where the thickness of the bone tissue is greater. Sinusotomy is performed with a rotating hollow mill, which is placed at an angle of 10–30° to the surface of bone tissue. Rotating mill is being immersed to a depth equal to half the diameter of the mill, obtaining a C-shaped propyl. Resulting bone fragment is being raised above the surface of the maxillary sinus area. Access to the maxillary sinus in the area from the first premolar to the second molar is being provided.
