PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair-type massage machine with a forearm treatment mechanism in its armrest portion for massaging an forearm of a person to be treated, wherein the armrest portion is made in such a way that the forearm treatment mechanism can be comfortably used without being in the way of the person to be treated when standing up and sitting down while eliminating a cause of discomfort by a rising wall of the forearm treatment mechanism unnecessarily pressing an arm of the person to be treated, and thus allowing the forearm to be smoothly placed/removed on/from the forearm treatment mechanism.SOLUTION: In the chair-type massage machine 1a, the armrest portion 14a has a forearm insertion opening part 61a for inserting the forearm of the person to be treated from inner back side of the armrest portion 14a. A cavity 62a extending from the forearm insertion opening part 61a is provided inside the armrest portion 14a for inserting and holding the forearm of the person to be treated.
