PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant using a natural component as a main component, capable of improving deodorization function with respect to deodorization desire to body odor, the odor of a pet, the odor of tobacco, odor of food and drink or the like, and urging leveling of taste.SOLUTION: A deodorant contains purified water as much as 70-90 vol% to the whole, and water-soluble extraction liquid of a root of a vetiver which is a gramineous perennial as much as 10-30 vol%.
