Peptides are described which interact with the beta subunit of the L-type Ca2+ channel in cardiac cells of a subject and can be used to modulate the uptake of calcium in the cardiac cells making these peptides of use in attenuating reperfusion injury following a period of ischemia.La présente invention concerne des peptides qui interagissent avec la sous-unité béta du canal Ca2+ de type L dans des cellules cardiaques dun sujet et peuvent être utilisées pour moduler labsorption de calcium dans les cellules cardiaques rendant ces peptides utilisables pour atténuer une lésion de reperfusion à la suite dune période dischémie.
