A fluid connector is described, the connector comprising a housing having an access site, and a cover member passively positioned in a covering relationship with the access site 1 he cover member is in a covering relationship with the access site such that the cover member is substantially reversable from an uncovered relationship under load to the initial covering relationship. A method of preventing contamination and aseptically covering an access site of a fluid connector with a cover member is also described.Linvention concerne un raccord pour passage de fluide comprenant un boîtier ayant une zone daccès et un couvercle positionné passivement pour recouvrir la zone daccès, le couvercle étant positionné pour recouvrir la zone daccès de telle façon quune condition du couvercle qui ne recouvre pas laccès est en grande partie réversible vers la condition initiale qui recouvre laccès grâce à lapplication dun effort. Linvention concerne aussi une méthode de prévention de contamination et de recouvrement aseptique dune zone daccès dun raccord pour passage de fluide avec un couvercle.
