PURPOSE: A composition for the antibacteria or anti-inflammation including rose flower extract as an active ingredient is provided to be able to be used for treatment, prevention or alleviation of gastrointestinal disorders or skin diseases caused by Helicobacter pylori and propionibactrium acnes, or for the anti-inflammation use. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition includes rose flower extract or a solvent fraction thereof as an active ingredient. The composition has an antibacterial activity to Helicobacter pylori and propionibacterium acnes. The extract is water or ethanol extract. The solvent fraction is hexane fraction or butanol fraction. A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prevention of gastrointestinal disorders by Helicobacter pylori or skin diseases by propionibacterium acnes includes the rose flower extract or its solvent fraction as an active ingredient. A composition for anti-inflammation includes the rose flower extract or its solvent fraction as an active ingredient.
