PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system which does not impair flexibility of a pusher guide wire and can transmit torque of an operator to a distal end of the pusher guide wire for easily releasing a stent at a target site accurately.SOLUTION: In a stent delivery system 1, since an anchor member 20 of a stent 10 is arranged between a tapered part 34b of a coil body 34 and a bulge part 40, the anchor member 20 is pressed in a distal end direction by the tapered part 34b of the coil body 34 in delivering the stent 10 to a target site by a pusher guide wire 30, and torque of an operator can be transmitted to a distal end of the pusher guide wire 30. The stent 10 during the release is retreated to the inside of a catheter 50 by pulling back the pusher guide wire 30 in a proximal end direction to bring the bulge part 40 into contact with the anchor member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
