PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument used for sticking a covering material to an affected part in a body, capable of easily spreading the covering material and spreading a large-size covering material.SOLUTION: A treatment instrument 1 causes a first wire 9 and a second wire 10 to retract, with a covering material H disposed on a surface of a rod member 5, and rotationally turn a first plate material 7 and a second plate material 8 to positions along the surface of the rod material 5 respectively, so that portions Ha and Hb of the covering material H can be clamped between the first plate material 7 and the rod material 5, and between the second plate material 8 and the rod material 5.
