PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable pants-type diaper capable of making a trunk-part elastic member less noticeable by favorably forming pleats extending in a diaper longitudinal direction on a waist part in the disposable pants-type diaper provided with the trunk-part elastic member.SOLUTION: The disposable pants-type diaper comprises a trunk-part elastic member 13 extending in a diaper width direction x on a waist part of an outer wrapper member 2. The outer wrapper member 2 includes an inner sheet 7, an outer sheet 9 and, an intermediate sheet 8 disposed therebetween. The trunk-part elastic member 13 is disposed between the inner sheet 7 and the intermediate sheet 8, and the outer sheet 9 and the intermediate sheet 8 are mutually joined at the waist part by a plurality of joining parts 11 provided in the diaper width direction x.
