PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional granular pest control agent that it is obtained by giving an insecticide ingredient substance diluted with an organic solvent and the like, to talc, and has been giving load to environment.SOLUTION: The pest control granules are obtained by making granular zeolite support a solution prepared by dissolving or diluting an insecticide ingredient substance having repellency and insecticidal activity for pests in a vegetable essential oil. Because zeolite has a small specific gravity and is therefore relatively light, it does not give a load to environment. Further, by simultaneously using a vegetable essential oil, its repellency ot insecticidal activity can be utilized. Therefore, pests can be controlled efficiently while reducing a load to environment. Furthermore, even after the pest control effect disappeared, the pest control granules are continued to be used as is as a soil improver.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】従来の粒状殺虫剤は、タルクに有機溶媒等で希釈した殺虫剤原体を担持させており、環境に負荷を与えていた。【解決手段】粒状のゼオライトに、殺虫剤原体を虫類に忌避性または殺虫性を持つ植物精油に溶解または希釈したものを担持させる。ゼオライトは比重が小さいので相対的に軽く、環境にも負荷を与えない。また、植物精油を併用することで、その忌避性または殺虫性を利用できる。従って、環境への負荷を軽減しながら害虫を効果的に防除できる。また、害虫防除効果が無くなったあとも、そのまま土壌改良材として利用し続けられる。【選択図】 無し
