PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which an observation failure caused by halation and an observation failure caused by abrasion of an insertion portion may be prevented with a diameter of the insertion portion reduced.SOLUTION: An endoscope comprises: a tip covering member in a circular outer shape having a through-hole 5h coaxial with a central axis thereof a lens frame 6 including a thick portion 6a having a diameter the same as an inner diameter of the through-hole 5h and inserted in the through-hole 5h, a frame through-hole 6h coaxial with a central axis of an outer shape of the thick portion 6a, and a light guide setting recess having an arc-shaped bottom face centering the central axis of the thick portion 6a disposed on one side of a horizontal line perpendicular to an optical center of a lens 11 a light guide handle 7 including a bundle of optical fibers and a light guide tip portion having, on a tip side thereof, an inner circumferential face disposed on the arc-shaped bottom face of the lens frame 6 and an outer circumferential face and a drop preventing mechanism part for preventing the lens frame 6 inserted in the tip covering member from dropping out.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】挿入部の細径化を図りつつ、ハレーションによる観察の不具合、及び挿入部が摩耗することに発生する観察の不具合を防止する内視鏡を提供する。【解決手段】内視鏡は、外形が円形でその中心軸に同軸な貫通孔5hを有する先端カバー部材と、貫通孔5hの内径と直径が同寸法で貫通孔5hに挿通配置される太径部6a、太径部6aの外形の中心軸に同軸な枠貫通孔6h、およびレンズ11の光学中心に直交する水平線より一方側に設けられた太径部6aの中心軸を中心に形成した円弧状底面を有するライトガイド設置凹部を有するレンズ枠6と光ファイバーを束ねて構成され、先端側にレンズ枠6の円弧状底面に配置される内周面、及び外周面を有するライトガイド先端部を有するライトガイドバンドル7と、先端カバー部材に挿通配置されたレンズ枠6が脱落することを防止する脱落防止機構部と、を具備する。【選択図】図3
