PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler protecting device effectively protecting a sprinkler and reduced in cost and labor hour for change.SOLUTION: The sprinkler protecting device is structured as follows: laying a cylindrical protection base 21 under the ground 12 while surrounding a sprinkler 13 laid under the ground attaching an attachment portion 32 of a protection cap 22 to the upper end part of the protection base 21 and disposing a flange portion 31 projecting outward from the protection cap 22 along the ground. The protection cap 22 prevents a blade C of a lawn mower from directly coming in contact with the sprinkler 13 when maintaining surrounding lawn G with the lawn mower, so as to effectively protect the sprinkler 13. According to the sprinkler protecting device, only the protection cap 22 can be taken off from the ground for replacement without turning up or filling back the ground even when the protection cap 22 is broken by the blade C of the lawn mower, so that cost and labor hour for change can be reduced.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】スプリンクラーを効果的に保護でき、かつ、交換の際の費用や手間を低減可能なスプリンクラー保護装置を提供する。【解決手段】地中に埋設したスプリンクラー13の周囲を囲んで円筒状の保護ベース体21を地中12に埋設する。保護ベース体21の上端部に保護キャップ体22の装着部32を装着する。保護キャップ体22の外方へと突出する鍔部31を地上に沿わせて配置する。芝刈機によって周囲の芝Gの手入れをした際に、芝刈機の刃Cが直接スプリンクラー13に接触することを保護キャップ体22によって防止でき、スプリンクラー13を効果的に保護できる。仮に保護キャップ体22が芝刈機の刃Cにより破損した場合でも、地面を掘り返したり埋め戻したりすることなく地上から保護キャップ体22のみを取り外して交換できるので、交換の際の費用や手間を低減できる。【選択図】図1
