PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle for preventing the separation of an outer needle from an outer needle hub, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the indwelling needle.SOLUTION: The indwelling needle 1 includes: the hollow outer needle 2, which has an enlargement diameter part 21, whose diameter is enlarged, at a base end part and through which an inner needle is put the outer needle hub 3 having a hub body 31 and a cylindrical fixing part 32, which is arranged at the distal end side of the hub body 31 and includes an inner cavity 321 opened at the distal end side and in which the enlargement diameter part 21 is inserted into and fixed to the inner cavity 321 and an adhesive agent 6, with which a part between the enlargement diameter part 21 and the fixing part 32 is filled in a state where the enlargement diameter part 21 is inserted into the inner cavity 321 of the fixing part 32, to fix the enlargement diameter part 21 to the fixing part 32.
