The present invention relates to ophthalmic preparations in the form of eyedrops based on PACAP (Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide) which restore the normal visual function in retinal dystrophy/retinopathy and optic neuropathy, with special reference to glaucoma. Said preparations can be administered topically to the intact eye surface, and are useful in the treatment of various forms of retinal dystrophy/retinopathy and optic neuropathy, such as glaucoma.본 발명은 특히 녹내장과 관련하여, 망막 이영양증/망막병증 및 시각 신경병증에서 정상 시각 기능을 회복시키는 PACAP(Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide)에 기반한 점안제 형태의 안과용 제제에 관한 것이다. 상기 제제는 온전한 안구 표면에 국소적으로 투여될 수 있고, 녹내장과 같은, 망막 이영양증/망막병증 및 시각 신경병증의 다양한 형태의 치료에서 유용하다.
