Disclosed is a 3D bilateral adaptive filtering method for ultrasound data. The 3D bilateral adaptive filtering method for ultrasound data comprises the steps of: (1) generating a summed area table of a quantized space filter for the ultrasound data； (2) calculating a principle bilateral filtered image component (PBFIC) by using the summed area table； and (3) calculating a filtered result value for the ultrasound data by linearly interpolating the PBFIC.
