Obtained is an innovative high-slidability syringe that maintains high safety and sealing properties over a long period of time, and has low sliding resistance with respect to the syringe barrel of a gasket. A high-slidability syringe A comprises: a syringe barrel 1; a gasket 10 that is pressed into the syringe barrel 1 and is used in a state of sliding along the inside of the syringe barrel 1; and a piston rod 5 that has the gasket 10 fitted to a leading end thereof. The gasket 10 is formed of a rigid plastic having chemical resistance to a chemical 30 that is charged into the syringe barrel 1, and comprises a gasket body 26 in which a recessed groove 18 is formed in a sliding surface 11 thereof that slides along an inner circumferential surface 2 of the syringe barrel 1, and a sliding ring 19 that is fitted into the recessed groove 18. The sliding ring 19 comprises a rubber base material (elastomer) 19c through which a charged silicone oil bleeds and the silicone oil that is charged into the rubber base material 19c. The sliding ring 19 is formed such that an outer diameter D1 thereof is larger than an inner diameter D0 of the syringe barrel 1. An outer diameter D2 of a liquid-contact-side sliding surface 11a, which is provided between a liquid-contact-side end surface 14 of the gasket body 26 and the recessed groove 18, is formed so as to be larger than the inner diameter D0 of the syringe barrel 1.
