Levothyroxine, also known as L-thyroxine, synthetic T4, or 3,5,3',5'-tetraiodo-L-thyronine, CAS number 51-48-9, is a synthetic form of thyroxine, used as a hormone substitute for patients with thyroid conditions. The invention relates to a method for the preparation of an oral levothyroxine composition.
