PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid capable of preventing effectively a fishing rod from slipping from a hand, and connecting firmly the fishing rod to an angler's hand.SOLUTION: There is provided an aid formed of a flexible and extensible material as a band-like body, attachable to/detachable from a fishing rod 8, having at least two rod insertion holes 4, 5, and capable of widening the rod insertion holes by flexibility and extensibility of the material.
