PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable and inexpensive detachment detecting device which detects detachment when a medical instrument having a needle to be used for a dialysis treatment, an infusion treatment, or the like is detached from a human body.SOLUTION: The detachment detecting device 1 is configured by folding a sheet formed of a synthetic resin material or the like. A movable sheet part 4 is inserted in spaces 25a, 25b between a base sheet part 2 and holding sheet parts 5, 6. A deformable part 28 extends upward from the movable sheet part 4, and the medical instrument is fixed to an attachment part 29 at the tip of the deformable part 28. When the needle stuck in the human body is removed from the human body, the movable sheet part 4 comes out of the spaces 25a, 25b.
