The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition with the improved solubility and dissolution stability of a specific indole compound of the chemical formula 1 using an alkali neutralizing agent. The cosmetic composition of the present invention has the excellent stability even while being stored for a long period. The solubility of a non-soluble indole compound is increased.
