The present invention provides a series of new percutaneous concepts ofparavalvular repairs including identifying the leak location, several repairtechniques and finally built-in means for leak prevention, built onpercutaneous valves. A catheter-delivered device (27) locates cavitiesoccurring between a prosthetic valve (20) and the wall of the body vesselwhere the valve is implanted, the cavities producing paravalvular leaks duringdiastole, the device comprising at least one of a plurality of flexible wires(28), the wire having attached to it a balloon (29), wherein the balloon ispulled by the leak through the cavity and wherein the wire then serves to markthe cavity location.
