This invention is related to a ready for use hydrophilic catheter set that does not lose its lubricious efficiency when left in water for an extended period of time, with increased lubricious characteristic, and a production method for this catheter set. Within the scope of this invention a catheter which is manufactured from medical grade PVC or Thermoplastic Elastomer-based PVC-free materials, is used as a support material. In this invention PVP (Polyvinylpyrrolidone) coating material is used as a hydrophilicity and lubrication enhancer, Methylene chloride is used a solvent, Erucamide is used as a lubrication and stability enhancer, Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) is used as a crosslinker, Sodium chloride is used as a glidant, Chitosan is used as an antibacterial agent and lubrication enhancer, Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is used as a lubrication enhancer, Polyethylene oxide (PEO) is used as a lubrication enhancer, Sorbic acid is used as a lubrication enhancer, Acrylic acid is used as a solvent, Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HES) is used as a lubrication enhancer, Titanium dioxide is used as a lubrication enhancer, Toluene is used as a solvent and surface cleaner, Benzoyl peroxide is used as an initiator and pure water is used as a solvent.
