The present invention relates to a composition for enhancing radiation sensitivity containing an expression or activity inhibitor of NONO as an active component. According to the present invention, the expression level of NONO gene or protein is specifically increased in various carcinomas such as breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer etc., which indicates that the expression level of NONO gene or protein has a high correlation with a cancer patient survival rate, anticancer agent reactivity, and radiation sensitivity. Therefore, the expression or activity inhibitor of targeting NONO can be usefully utilized as a novel cancer therapy which suppresses tumors and promotes anticancer agent reactivity and radiation sensitivity.본 발명은 NONO의 발현 또는 활성 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 방사선 민감성 증진용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면, 유방암, 간암, 폐암 등 여러 암종에서 NONO 유전자 또는 단백질의 발현 수준이 특이적으로 증가되어 있으며, 이는 암 환자의 생존율, 항암제 반응성 및 방사선 민감성과 높은 연관성을 나타내는 바, NONO를 표적하는 발현 또는 활성 억제제는 종양을 억제하고, 항암제 반응성 및 방사선 민감성을 증진시키는 새로운 암 치료법으로 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
