PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking training apparatus causing no load on wiring and preventing wiring of a walking assist device from hindering a training persons walking actions and a physical therapists actions.SOLUTION: A walking training apparatus includes: a walking assist device connected with wiring and assisting walking actions of a training persons leg determination means determining whether the leg is in a standing state or idling state wiring winding means and control means controlling the wiring winding means. The control means controls the wiring winding means (A) to wind the wiring when standing state is determined and to pull out the wiring when the idling state is determined in a case where the wiring winding means is arranged on a rear side with respect to the training person.
