Provided are an image processing apparatus for generating an image in which fine movements of a target object are amplified, an ultrasonic apparatus including the same, and a control method thereof. The image processing apparatus according an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a weighted value application unit for increasing a difference by applying a first weighted value to a second imaginary number component, if the difference between a first imaginary number component of a first frame image and a second imaginary number component of a second frame image adjacent to the first frame image is less than or equal to a first threshold value； and an image generation unit for generating a movement amplification image, in which movements of interest corresponding to the increased difference are amplified, by using the first frame image and the second frame image to which the weighted value is applied. The ultrasonic apparatus is small, inexpensive, and highly secured.대상체의 미세한 움직임이 증폭된 영상을 생성하는 영상처리장치, 이를 포함하는 초음파 장치 및 그 제어방법을 제공한다.일 실시예에 따른 영상처리장치는, 제 1 프레임 영상의 제 1 허수성분 및 제 1 프레임 영상에 인접하는 제 2 프레임 영상의 제 2 허수성분의 차이가 제 1 임계값 이하이면, 제 2 허수성분에 제 1 가중치를 적용하여 차이를 증가시키는 가중치 적용부； 및 제 1 프레임 영상 및 제 1 가중치가 적용된 제 2 프레임 영상을 이용하여, 증가한 차이에 대응되는 관심 움직임이 증폭된 움직임 증폭 영상을 생성하는 영상 생성부； 를 포함할 수 있다.
