PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare the report of an examination using an ultrasound image.SOLUTION: In the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus of an embodiment, an image memory 15 stores the ultrasound image and a first image which is set by a type image expressing the area at which the ultrasound image has been photographed and a position image expressing the scanning position of the ultrasound wave at the time of the ultrasound image creation while correlating them. An output information creating unit 18 creates a second image creating to the shape of the first image which is stored in the image memory 15. Then, the output information creating unit 18 creates an image for which image information extracted from the ultrasound image which has been correlated with the first image is superposed on the created second image, as output information.
