PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the positioning of forearms in a bone density measuring apparatus for forearms.SOLUTION: A grip 28 is positioned at a prescribed point on a table 18 and holding the grip, and an examinee puts his forearms on the table 18 keeping his hands and forearms in contact with a contact pad 36. This accomplishes the positioning of the forearms with the position of the grip 28 as reference. An elbow pad 30L is slid to contact the elbows of the forearms positioned to detect the positions of respective elbow heads 56. The position at which the bone density is measured is located on the far side of the forearms, that is, closer to the hands. The positioning made with the grip 28 as reference prevents the measuring position of the bone density from being affected by the physical constitution of the examinee, thereby simplifying the work of the positional adjustment of the forearms.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】前腕用の骨密度測定装置において、前腕の位置決めを容易に行えるようにする。【解決手段】グリップ28を載置台18上の所定位置に位置決めし、被検者はこのグリップを握った状態で、手および前腕を当接パッド36に当てて、載置台18上に前腕を置く。グリップ28の位置が基準となって前腕の位置決めがなされる。位置決めされた前腕の肘に肘当て30Lをスライドさせて当て、肘頭56の位置を検出する。骨密度を測定する位置は、前腕の遠位側、すなわち手の方に寄った位置にあり、グリップ28を基準として位置決めを行うことにより、骨密度の測定位置が被検者の体格の影響を受けにくくなり、前腕の位置調整の作業を簡略化できる。【選択図】図6
