PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new application of an extract of tea flower and/or a new saponin compound contained therein or its salt.

SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition for preventing and improving bowel obstruction and constipation or a free fatty acid production inhibitor, a composition for antiobestic disease or antihyperlipidemic, each containing a tea flower extract which is safely useable or at least one saponin compound in the present invention contained in the extract as an active ingredient.
