A conditioner composition for dyeing hair is provided to increase the coherence with hair, prevent the dye loss during washing hair, and improve the persistence. A conditioner composition for dyeing hair comprises basic dye, higher alcohol, organic solvent, surfactant, silicon polymer, water and 0.01-5% by weight of film former. The film former is an amphoteric polymer of methacryloylethyl betaine/acrylate copolymer； a non-ionic polymer such as a polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP), polyvinylpyrrolidone/vinylacetate copolymer, and polyvinylpyrrolidone/dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate copolymer； an anionic polymer such as an octylacrylamide/acrylates/butylaminoethyl metacrylate copolymer, acrylates/octacrylamide copolymer, and acrylates/t-butylacrylamide copolymer； and a cationic polymer such as s polyvinylpyrrolidone/trimethylaminoethylmethacrylate copolymer. The pH concentration is 3.5-6.0.
