This invention relates to a head and neck support device which is disposed on a chairback for supporting head and neck, comprising a headrest support module, a cervical vertebra support adjustment module, and two neck protection modules. The headrest support module can provide proper support to the head. The cervical vertebra support adjustment module has an elastic ductile body capable of adjusting position and curvature according to different users, to enable the elastic ductile body to properly support the cervical vertebra of the user. The two neck protection modules are respectively located at two sides of the cervical vertebra support adjustment module and have respectively a soft neck protection wing for protecting the cervical vertebra of the user. The head and neck support device can timely adjust the support position and the curvature of the elastic ductile body in response to the body shape and neck and shoulder curvature of the user, giving proper support to the head and reducing the bending moment to the cervical vertebra, thereby avoiding the cervical nerve from being damaged by compression.
