The present invention relates to an electric pruning shears, which is built in with a driving motor capable of forward and reverse driving, forming a body (4) which enables an operator to grasp the electric pruning shears (2). A front part of the body (4) is provided with a cutting unit (6) operating by a driving motor and one side of the body (4) is formed with an operating unit (30) so as to transmit a motion signal to the driving motor and rotate the cutting unit (6) by the operation of a gear unit (3). An inside of the body (4) is provided with a magnet (32) on the rear of an operation blade (10) of the cutting unit (6), wherein a shield (34) is installed on the magnet (32) so as to form a magnetic field in one direction only and a plurality of sensing units ((36a), (36b), (36c), (36d)) are arranged so as to detect the magnetic field of the magnet (32), and generate a rotational angle control signal of the operation blade (10), thereby, configured such that as the operation blade (10) rotates by the rotating motor, the operation blade (10) recognizes the location of the magnet (32) via sensing units (36a) (36b) (36c) (36d) and runs within the pre-set location of the sensing units (36a) (36b) (36c) (36d), thereby providing an advantage in that the invention is configured to have safety mechanisms built in to prevent safety accidents caused by a negligence on the part of an operator or by a malfunction of the electric pruning shears (2), thus improving safety, and configured to control by step the operation of the cutting unit (6) of the electric pruning shears (2) to be suitable for the operation purpose, thus improving work efficiency.본 발명은 전동 전지가위에 있어서, 정역회전이 가능한 구동모터가 내장되어 작업자가 전동 전지가위(2)를 파지하기 위한 몸체(4)를 형성하며, 몸체(4) 전방에는 구동모터에 의해 동작하는 커팅부(6)를 구비하고, 몸체(4) 일측에는 구동모터에 동작신호를 전달하여 기어부(3)의 작동으로 커팅부(6)를 회전시키는 작동부(30)를 구성하며, 몸체(4) 내측에는 커팅부(6)의 작동날(10) 후미에 자석(32)을 설치하되, 상기 자석(32)에는 자기장이 일방향으로만 형성되도록 쉴드캔(34)을 설치하고, 상기 자석(32)의 자기장을 감지하여 작동날(10)의 회전각도 제어신호를 생성하는 다수의 감지부(3
