The present invention relates to an electric pruning shears, which is built in with a driving motor capable of forward and reverse driving, forming a body (4) which enables an operator to grasp the electric pruning shears (2). A front part of the body (4) is provided with a cutting unit (6) operating by a driving motor and one side of the body (4) is formed with an operating unit (30) so as to transmit a motion signal to the driving motor and rotate the cutting unit (6) by the operation of a gear unit (3).
