Various membrane stripping devices for removing proliferative membranes from underlying tissue are disclosed herein. In some implementations, the stripping device may include a first shear and a second shear. One of the first shearing part and the second shearing part may be movable with respect to the other of the first shearing part and the second shearing part. The one or more shearing portions may include a plurality of teeth formed at a tip edge portion thereof.
