The package accommodates, between the cap and the housing or the outer peripheral surface of the cap, a liquid injection instrument provided with a stepped part which protrudes further outwards than the side surface of the barrel part. The package is provided with a container which is provided with: an accommodation space for accommodating the liquid injection instrument； and an opening for removing the liquid injection instrument from the accommodation space. The container is capable of having, attached thereto, a sealing member for sealing the opening.
