A closure for introducing one or more active agents into a container comprises a sealed or sealable chamber having a breakable wall and a hollow piston slidably attached to a piston guide. The hollow piston includes an outer wall having a distal end in the chamber and at least one vent opening. The end has a cut form. The hollow piston has a vent position in which at least one vent opening allows venting of the chamber, a sealed position in which at least one vent opening is sealed to prevent venting of the chamber, and a cutting configuration of the destructible wall. The piston guide can be slid between a deployment position that has broken through at least a part thereof. The outer wall has a retaining configuration that engages a piston guide that releasably resists sliding of the hollow piston between the vented position, the sealed position, and the deployed position. The hollow piston may have an outer wall, the outer wall having a distal end facing the destructible wall in the chamber, wherein the cutting end includes a first end having a cutting configuration and a cutting end of the cutting configuration.
