The present invention relates to an absorbent article which can prevent feces disposed on a rear surface from leaking. According to the present invention, the absorbent article (1) comprises an absorbent main body (10) and an external body (20). The external body (20) has a notch portion curved along a wearer′s leg. The absorbent article (1) has longitudinal and lateral directions intersected when being unfolded. The notch portion (20c) includes a rear notch part (20cb) placed on a rear surface with respect to the longitudinal direction, and a front notch part (20cf) placed on a front surface with respect to the longitudinal direction. The external body (20) has an elastic leg member (33) continuously extended along a partial potion (20cfp) of the front and rear notch parts (20cb, 20cf).
