PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a loading amount of preliminary seedling by arranging a sub-preliminary seedling-loading part different from a preliminary seedling-loading part while maintaining facilitation of supply operation of seedling at the preliminary seedling-loading part and to improve operation efficiency by smoothly carrying out a planting operation.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter is equipped with a seedling planting part at the rear of a traveling vehicle body, a preliminary seedling-loading stand (38) for loading seedling boxes for loading the seedlings or seedling-scooping plates for loading the seedlings at the side part of the traveling vehicle body in which the preliminary seedling-loading stand (38) is constituted of the preliminary seedling-loading part (72) for loading a plurality of seedling boxes or a plurality of seedling-scooping plates continuously and movably in the longitudinal direction and the sub-preliminary seedling-loading part (150) having a smaller loading space than that of the preliminary seedling-loading part (72).
