This implant (1) has a frame (2) and a membrane (3) covering this frame； -the frame (2) has: -an elongated base portion (5) formed by two curved or chevron branches being connected to connecting areas (7) of the implant (1) for connecting to the annulus of the mitral valve (100)； -a longitudinal hoop (8) extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the plane in which extends said base portion； -the membrane (3) is flexible and extends from one branch to the other while passing near the hoop (8), this membrane being connected to said branches without being stretched between these branches and this hoop so that the two thereby formed lateral portions (3a) of the membrane (3) on both sides of the implant are able to adopt either a concave shape, outwardly convex, or a recessed shape, outwardly concave.Ledit implant (1) comprend une structure (2) et une membrane (3) recouvrant ladite structure ； - ladite structure (2) comportant : - une partie de base allongée (5), formée par deux branches incurvées ou en chevrons, qui est reliée à des zones de liaison (7) de l'implant (1) servant à la liaison à l'anneau de la valvule mitrale (100) ； - un arceau longitudinal (8) s'étendant dans un plan pratiquement perpendiculaire au plan dans lequel s'étend ladite partie de base ； - la membrane (3) est flexible et s'étend d'une branche à l'autre tout en passant à proximité de l'arceau (8), ladite membrane étant reliée auxdites branches sans être étirée entre lesdites branches et ledit arceau, de sorte que les deux parties latérales (3a) ainsi formées de la membrane (3) sur les deux côtés de l'implant sont aptes à adopter soit une forme concave, qui est convexe vers l'extérieur, soit une forme montée en retrait, qui est concave vers l'extérieur.
