The present invention relates to a riverside structure with vegetation space creating and rainwater filtering functions which provides a vegetation space by being disposed on an artificial retaining wall constructed for protecting a river bank and, more specifically, to a riverside structure with vegetation space creating and rainwater filtering functions which forms a double-layered vegetation space, prevents pollution of a river by filtering the pollutants in rainwater flowing into the river, and maintains the excellent ecological environment. The riverside structure according to the present invention is mounted along a retaining wall in the length direction of a river, and has one side, which faces the river, provided with a vegetation space filled with vegetation members. The river side structure includes side walls mutually faced across the retaining walls and a vegetation space formed in a double layer on one side of the side wall. The vegetation space formed on one side of the side wall is an inner space formed by a bottom part formed from a compartment to the river； a vent part bent upwardly from the end of the bottom part； and a cutting-off unit which prevents loss of vegetation members which are bent and extended from the upper end to the side wall.본 발명은 하천 제방 보호를 위해 시공된 인공 옹벽 등에 설치하여 식생 공간을 제공하는 하안 구조물에 관한 것으로서, 특히 복층으로 식생 공간을 형성하며, 하천으로 유입되는 우수의 오염물질을 여과하여 하천의 오염을 방지하며 양호한 생태계 환경을 유지할 수 있게 구성한 것이다.상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 옹벽을 따라 하천의 길이방향으로 장착되며 하천 쪽을 향한 일면에는 식생부재가 채워지는 식생공간부가 하천의 길이방향으로 형성된 하안 구조물로서, 하안 구조물은 옹벽을 따라 마주하여 위치하는 측벽과 측벽의 일면에 복수 층으로 형성된 식생공간부를 포함하며, 측벽의 일면에 형성된 식생공간부는 격벽에서 하천 쪽으로 형성된 바닥부와, 바닥부의 단부에서 상향으로 절곡된 형태의 절곡부와, 절곡부의 상단에서 측벽 쪽으로 절곡 연장되어 식생부재의 유실을 방지하는 차단부에 의해 형성된 안쪽 공간인 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다.
