The material for an intraocular lens of the present invention polymerizes a monomer composition comprising an aromatic ring-containing acrylate monomer and an alkoxyalkyl methacrylate monomer having an alkoxyalkyl group having 4 or less carbon atoms, a hydrophilic monomer, and a crosslinkable monomer.
