A dentifrice composition comprising calcined alumina as a polishing agent, a water soluble condensed phosphate and an orally acceptable carrier or excipient, wherein the composition contains no abrasive kremniya.2 dioxide. The composition of claim 1 wherein the calcined alumina is calcined oxide alyuminiya.3 low. A composition according to claim 2, wherein the low calcined alumina contains from 50 to 90 wt.% Α-alumina oxide and from 10.0 to 50 wt.% Γ-alyuminiya.4 oxide. A composition according to claim 1, wherein the condensed phosphate is a water soluble tripolyphosphate salt metalla.5 alkali. A composition according to claim 4, wherein the tripolyphosphate salt is a sodium or potassium salt, or their smes.6. The composition of claim 1 wherein the calcined alumina is in an amount of from 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% Of the entire kompozitsii.7. A composition according to claim 1, wherein the condensed phosphate is present in an amount of from 1.0 to 20.0 wt.% Of the entire kompozitsii.8. A composition according to claim 1, further comprising at least one or more than one surfactant veschestvo.9. A composition according to claim 1, comprising a source of fluoride ionov.10. A composition according to claim 9 wherein the fluoride ion source is a fluoride natriya.11. A composition according to claim 1, comprising an agent against naleta.12. A composition according to claim 1, comprising an agent against malodor rta.13. A composition according to any of claims 1-12, wherein pH is 7,0-10,0.14. A process for preparing a composition according to any of claims 1-13, comprising mixing the ingredients, conveniently in vacuo to obtain a homogeneous mixture, and regulation of pH, if necessary.1.
