PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic photographing apparatus capable of acquiring a single color image by which respective primary color images are appropriately analyzed.
SOLUTION: The ophthalmic photographing apparatus 1 is the device that irradiates the eye fundus Ef of an optometrical eye E with illumination light, receives the reflection light of the illumination light against the eye fundus Ef, and generates image data of the respective primary color components, i.e., of the R component, the G component, and the B component. The ophthalmic photographing apparatus 1 includes: a photographing light source 103 for radiating photographing illumination light with color balance corresponding to the reflectance ratio of each primary color component against the eye fundus and a color correction filter 106. The ophthalmic photographing apparatus 1 receives the reflection light of the photographing illumination light against the eye fundus Ef of the optometrical eye E, so as to generate the image data of the respective primary color components. Further, the ophthalmic photographing device 1 controls the photographing light source 103, so that the optometrical eye E is irradiated with the photographing illumination light by the light amount for allowing the concentration of the image data of the prescribed primary color component to be included within a prescribed range.
