Described herein is the synthesis of alkylated and fluoroalkylated semi-synthetic glycosaminoglycosan ethers, referred to herein as "SAGEs." The synthesis of sulfated alkylated and fluoroalkylated SAGEs is also described. The compounds described herein are useful in a number of applications including wound healing, drug delivery, and the treatment of a number of inflammatory diseases and skin disorders.L’invention concerne la synthèse d’éthers de glycoaminoglycosan semi-synthétiques alkylés et fluoroalkylés, désignés ici comme « SAGE ». La synthèse de SAGE alkylés sulfatés et fluoroalkylés est également décrite. Les composés décrits ici sont utiles dans un certain nombre d’applications comprenant la cicatrisation de plaie, l’administration de médicament et le traitement d’un certain nombre de maladies inflammatoires et d’affections cutanées.
