The present invention relates to a conditioning and shine enhancing composition for keratin fibres especially human hair. Accordingly the subject of the present invention is an aqueous composition comprising at least one mono alkyl quaternary ammonium surfactant at a concentration of 0.01 to 10% by weight, and at least one arylated silicone at a concentration of 0.001 to 5% by weight, calculated to total composition.
