A leak testing device (126) for use with an endoscope (100) having a leak test port (106), said leak testing device (126) comprising: negative pressure leak test functionality (220) configured to be coupled to the leak test port (106) of the endoscope (100) for sensing leaks in said endoscope (100) under negative pressure； and an indicator (242,244) operative in response to operation of said negative pressure leak test functionality (220) for indicating the presence or absence of a leak in said endoscope (100).
