Decreases over time in the viscosity of a pharmaceutical composition imparted by a polymer are inhibited in a pharmaceutical composition of pH 6.0 or lower containing dorzolamide or a salt thereof. The pharmaceutical composition of the invention inhibits decreases over time in the viscosity of the pharmaceutical composition by causing boric acid or a salt thereof to be contained in a pharmaceutical composition of pH 6.0 or lower that contains dorzolamide or a salt thereof and a polymer.抑制在含有多佐胺(dorzolamide)或其鹽之pH6.0以下的醫藥組成物中藉由高分子所賦予之醫藥組成物的黏度經時降低。如根據本發明之醫藥組成物,則藉由在含有多佐胺或其鹽、及高分子之pH6.0以下的醫藥組成物中含有硼酸或其鹽,醫藥組成物經時性的黏度降低會被抑制。
