PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor for an endoscope and an endoscope which facilitate efficient radiation of heat generated at illumination units.
SOLUTION: The adaptor for an endoscope 17 is attached detachably to an insertion section of an endoscope. The adaptor comprises the illumination units 23 for irradiating illumination light to a subject, an observation optical system 28 for observing the subject, an outer frame 21 on which the illumination units 23 and the observation optical system 28 are arranged, an illumination support member 44 for supporting the illumination units 23, and a columnar optical support member 31 extending from the proximity of the distal end to the proximal end of the outer frame 21 for supporting the observation optical system 28. Each of the illumination support member 44 and the optical support member 31 is made of a single member, and the illumination support member 44 is attached to the optical support member 31.
