PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interdental cleaning implement capable of effectively preventing damage of the gum when inserting a dental floss between teeth, while sufficiently securing insertion property between the teeth by appropriately setting looseness of the dental floss, and capable of highly efficiently cleaning a peripheral surface of the teeth and gingival sulci.SOLUTION: The interdental cleaning implement includes: a handle 10 having a pair of arm parts 11； and a dental floss 2 laid across between floss holding parts 12 of the pair of arm parts 11. The dental floss 2 is laid across between both floss holding parts 12 in a loose state such that a looseness rate δ obtained by the following mathematical expression (1) is 5-19%.
