Thus, the locating device (10) comprises: • a microcontroller (1)； • A battery (2) connected to the microcontroller (1)； • A radio transmitter (3) connected to the microcontroller (1) and capable of transmitting a signal for locating the object； and an accelerometer (4) connected to the microcontroller (1)； the microcontroller (1) being programmed to: power the radio transmitter (3) when the accelerometer (4) detects no movement； and cut off the power supply of the radio transmitter (3) when the accelerometer (4) detects a movement.
