The container for raising small animals includes peripheral walls 21 to 23 enclosing the periphery, and is provided with a hard synthetic resin base 2 having an opened upper end and a top cover 6 which is positioned on the base to cover an upper space of the base 2. The base 2 is formed by assembling at least two independent components.
